De do do do, de da da da

The most awesome thing happened on Wednesday! I won "The Police" concert tickets! I had been trying with 2 radio stations online for the past couple weeks to be entered into drawings to win the tickets because this is John's ultimately favorite band and he's been working so much overtime lately I knew he would be SOOOO happy if we could win tickets since we couldn't afford them. And I couldn't believe it when my925 called me on Wednesday saying I won! John was SO excited and we made plans to head up to Wheatland (the Sleep Train Ampitheatre) last night. The tickets were for seating on the lawn and when I went to rent a couple lawn chairs after we got in, they let us upgrade our tickets to real seats!!! WOOHOO! So we were in the back but still had seats so we were happy. They wouldn't allow my DSLR camera so we brought my mom's digital so the quality of the pictures isn't perfect but I was still glad we got some pictures. Oh and the best part, Sting has a beard now! He looks like JESUS! HA HA. So that's what I call him now. It was such a great concert. John had a lot of fun which he really needed. We got home at midnight and up at 5am for work this morning. Can't wait to go to bed tonight and try to recover. Getting too old for this. (Hey Jenn, this was only John's 2nd concert! Rookie. . . ha ha)
