I blame twitter

I need to update here more often. I've only been updating twitter and really need to continue here. Oh look, here's a post now. . . :)

4th of July was yesterday! Here are some pictures. They mainly ended up being of Gabriel except for two. Gabriel's my most willing subject so there's your reason. We spent the day at John's mom and dad's along with about 10 other people consisting of family and friends. We had all the regular super yummy bbq stuff like ribs, hot dogs, hamburgers, potato and macaroni salad. We brought the cupcakes and the fruit salad. There's no picture of the fruit salad b/c it wasn't very pretty but it tasted pretty good. It was a recipe where you mix just the powder from the vanilla pudding mix with 1 cup of pineapple juice, mix that with the fruit and let it sit in the fridge over night. I also made a smaller one with a coconut cream flavored pudding just to experiment and it was yummy too. No fireworks are allowed in their neighborhood so we watched some on TV last night to get our fill.
