Computer yuck

Our computer got a REALLy bad virus a couple weeks ago. At that point I realized that I have an internet addiction. At least I was able to go to work and go to some of my fav websites. I downloaded a few programs that were supposed to fix the "attack" on our computer over that past week and they didn't work. We took our computer to the dr (John's friend Alex) yesterday and he spent all day working on it. He said he'd never seen a virus THAT bad. That's not something you want to hear. So he dumped our hard drive completely and now we're starting over. (After we ran to Walmart and bought an external hard drive to save all my pictures onto). Not sure how we ever lived w/o an external hard drive. Things are working wonderfully today, so much so that I just had to blog about it. :) Gotta go, John's ready for his turn on the like-new computer. While he's doing that maybe I'll tackle some laundry. . .nah I'd rather play some Wii. :)

FYI - We were using Norton anti-virus when we got the virus. Learned our lesson the hard way. Now we use McAfee.
